Emergency Prayer Treatment
God, Bless the Animals... and hear now the prayers of a pet owner who is very concerned about the welfare of a precious animal. Thank You, God, for always hearing our prayers - for always being present in our lives when we need You, night or day. Thank You for knowing, even before we ask, the deepest desires of our hearts. Amen. |

A powerful prayer practice for pets that are in trouble
If your pet is in need of immediate prayer (is missing, has been seriously injured, has just received a difficult diagnosis, is in the process of dying or has recently passed to the next plane of existence and you don't know how to help), you may want to participate in this Emergency Prayer Treatment. Affirmative prayer will help you to help your pet in the most effective way.
Before beginning the Emergency Prayer Treatment, it is important that you bless your animal as he or she is right now. A blessing enhances all of the positive energy that is present in your pet and it also helps to negate any negative energy such as fear or pain that is inhibiting your pet's progress. If you are with your pet, lay your hands lovingly on your pet as you give the blessing. If your pet has moved on, it may help you to put your hands on something that was a precious belonging.
It is also important that you take a moment to bless everyone who has assisted your pet. Be sure to embrace the rescuers, the veterinarians, the assistants, the lab technicians, and anyone else, including yourself, who has tended to your pet's needs.
Emergency Prayer Treatment
Our Healing Prayer treatment is a nine-hour prayer practice that focuses on the perfection inherent in your animal, wherever your pet is, and on the power of God to help your pet to draw on that perfection.
Prayer is a gentle act. We are always wise to be consistent in our prayer practices, but not frantic. Positive prayer is best expressed in short, affirmative prayer statements repeated periodically. Spaced repetition is the key to the most effective prayer.
The following nine-hour Prayer treatment was created by the Reverend Hypatia Hasbrouck, and the process, for animals and for humans, is taught in her book, The Handbook of Positive Prayer. If you follow this prayer discipline carefully, in a short period of time you will begin to relax and allow God to work quickly and efficiently to effect the right and perfect solution for your pet's need.
The nine-hour Healing Prayer treatment requires that you pray once each hour, preferably at the same time, so it is best to begin this prayer practice in the morning or early afternoon. If you do begin it at night, be prepared to set your alarm or timer each hour, so that you may wake up and repeat your affirmative prayer.
At some point in the process, you will, once more, feel at peace.
Before you begin to pray each hour, take a few minutes to relax your body and bring forth a picture of your pet as you most love to see your pet -- healthy, happy and free to run, play, chase toys, etc.
Then repeat these words -- gently -- using your pet's name in the spaces left blank:
God, I ask, I seek and I knock and I know that You are at work to bring about ______________'s (perfect healing, immediate return or gentle transition.) I see ______________ whole and free-spirited, safe and able to do all of the things he/she loves most to do. I am grateful for peace of mind as I pray, knowing that ________________ is right now in Your loving care. Thank You, God, that You hear me always and provide for my every need. Amen.
Repeat this prayer faithfully each hour, and then, to the best of your ability, release your pet into God's loving care. If thoughts of fear cross your mind, bless them and let them go. Thank God for always hearing your prayer.
Do not be concerned if the urgency to pray, that you felt at the beginning of the nine hours, starts to fade toward the end of the time period; That is just God working in and through you and in and through your pet for a right and perfect outcome.
After you have repeated the prayer for the ninth time, add:
I now place ___________________________ lovingly in Your hands, God.
If you become anxious after that, affirm:
I have placed _____________________lovingly in the hands of God. God is in charge, and all is well.
Be at Peace.
God loves you, and God loves your pet -- very much.
You may repeat this process as often as you like, until you feel that your Prayer Treatment is complete.

ONE OF GOD'S AMAZING MIRACLES
We use the phrase "butting heads" to describe two people in disagreement. For goats, rearing and butting heads is a way to establish dominance and create the herd’s social hierarchy. The dominant buck is responsible for the breeding of the does and for flock safety. However, the dominant buck only tends toward aggression in the breeding season. During the rest of the year, he will even allow the leading female, or "queen" to dominate him. The queen obtains her position by bearing the most children in the flock. Thank You God for this example of "discovery" - discovery that peace is the more joy-filled road to travel and that the dominance of any one of your creatures over another is not Your way.
